More than 4.5 million people visited Rocky Mountain in 2016 for world-class recreation activities from hiking, fishing to horseback riding and camping.
The park is home to more than 60 species of mammals, including elk, bighorn sheep and moose, as well as more than 280 bird species, six amphibians, one reptile - the harmless garter snake, and 11 species of fish including a surprisingly large number of butterflies.
